It’s time to bring this one back: “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” FDR Fear is the root of all evil. The root of all our troubles. Fear is what keeps us from learning how to get along with each other.
Fear only thrives in the absence of reason. Our government has been acting against our best interests. We have been too busy surviving to pay any attention to what they were doing to the least of us, and then to all of us. We are better than this.
I get it. Politics is terminally boring. The ads are so bitter and annoying that many of us have come to dread political seasons. When we do make a choice and vote, nothing changes for the good. It’s the status quo or worse. Hope fades quickly under such life circumstances.
The time for reasonable people to come together to make our wishes known is here. All we want is the American Dream. A robust, stable economy where families can afford to educate their kids in pursuit of life-sustaining employment.
Take a break away from all the ginned-up hate. When we live in a state of fear of the other. This constant fear eats away at our life energy and values. As fear escalates (and it always does) we end up turning on our neighbors. We are reasonable people who can do better.
The time for reasonable people to come together to make our wishes known is here. All we really want is the essence of the American Dream. A robust, stable economy where families can afford to educate their kids in pursuit of life-sustaining employment.
